Getambassador VS. IDevAffiliate

These days, it is hard to get someone to buy your products and services without another person vouching for you. The absence of reviews on the Internet is often enough for your prospects to look for another option. And it is not just because you don’t have reviews. It is because you don’t have people promoting your business for you. Promote your business by using one of these platforms; OSI AFFILIATE SOFTWARE VS TAPFFILIATE VS REFERRALCANDY.

You see, having affiliates can really help your business. With affiliates, you don’t only have an army of people willing to promote your products and services. But you also have people who will review your business and share it with other people. The latter is very powerful when it comes to driving sales with word-of-mouth marketing.

With this, it is important to look into different affiliate softwares that will allow you to do this. While the idea of an affiliate program may seem enticing, it is not that easy to do. You cannot setup your pages to automatically receive affiliate signups. You’ll need a software for that.

Today, we will review two of the top affiliate softwares online: GetAmbassador and iDevAffiliate. We will look at its overview as well as its specific features and characteristics along with customer reviews. Hopefully, this will help you choose the affiliate software that is right for your business.

Overview of the Software

Before I can give an accurate review, let me give you a quick overview. More than just a description, this will also include the pros and cons of each software.

What is GetAmbassador?

GetAmbassador or simply Ambassador claims to be the #1 all-in-one referral software online. In fact, it is so good that it has been included in Inc 500 and has been declared as one of the fastest growing private companies in the US. Aside from this, GetAmbassador is also known to power the referral marketing campaigns of the American Marketing Association, Hewlett-Packard, NutriBullet, SAP and other big brands.

It functions more than an affiliate tool. Instead, it allows you to identify brand ambassadors that you would like to enroll in your program, give them a unique reward or discount code and reward them for every sale. I think this is a very useful tool especially in attracting influencers to market your website.

Pros

Here are the reasons why you’ll love GetAmbassador.

* Very Easy to Use

Every marketer can use this even if you don’t have any knowledge on coding.

* Multiple Campaign Support

Since this is a referral software. It is not limited to an affiliate program. This means that it also supports an influencer or referral program.

* Perfect for Influencer Marketing

Influencer marketing is all the rage nowadays. Gone are the days when websites are ranked using backlinks. Instead, websites are ranked by real recommendations from influencers. With this tool, you can give influencers a reason to promote you.

* Transparent Tracking

For some affiliate softwares, you only see the sales and impressions. But for this software, your affiliates will also know the status of their referrals. With this, affiliates can feel confident that all that they have referred will be paid.

Cons

Here are its downsides.

* Steep Learning Curve for Setup

Some customers found that setup can be a chore. Also, it takes quite a while to be integrated into certain systems. This doesn’t mean that it is impossible. It just takes time.

* Reporting Could Improve

Reporting is limited to tracking. It doesn’t include taxes. This can be a great add-on especially for independent affiliates.

What is iDevAffiliate?

iDevAffiliate has been a household name in the affiliate marketing industry. It has been around for 15 years and is one of the oldest affiliate marketing softwares that still work online.

iDevAffiliate has every feature that you need from an affiliate software. First is affiliate sign-up and commissioning. Then, there’s also marketing and reporting options. Built-in security is also quite high. Also, you can completely customize the platform to suit your brand’s needs.

Pros

* Experience

iDevAffiliate is one of the oldest affiliate softwares out there. Since it has been operating for more than a decade, their team has more than enough experience in the field.

* Ease of Use

Customers are also commenting on the product’s ease of use. The customization feature is also a plus. Customers love the fact that they don’t have to deal with templates when launching an affiliate program. They can just customize it.

* Worth the Money

Many customers commented that the software is worth the money. The pricing is not that high which attracts most of the new marketers and small businesses.

Cons

* Customer Service Could Improve

There are just some comments on their customer service. Although it is not bad, it could still improve.

NOTE: iDevAffiliate and GetAmbassador are two different softwares. While GetAmbassador can do what iDevAffiliate does (create an affiliate program), it is not the same if it is the other way around. This is because GetAmbassador is a referral marketing software. Thus, it can support more than just an affiliate program. It can also support influencer campaigns and referral contests. It is important that you note this before we proceed to the next section.

GetAmbassador vs. iDevAffiliate: An In-Depth Analysis

GetAmbassador and iDevAffiliate can help your business in two ways. First, it can help you recruit an army of affiliates who will promote your products and services for you. Second, it can help you get on the good side of influencers so that they will be more motivated to share your brand with their followers. Because of this, choosing the right software is crucial to your brand’s success. With this, I will look at these softwares at an in-depth level. I will look at different facets of the software and allot points to the company that managed to perform better. From here, I will declare the winner.

NOTE: Everything that is contained in this article is from my own observation. You may not agree with me and that’s okay. You can always tell me about what you think in the comments section below.

Pricing

iDevAffiliate is known for its affordable pricing. In fact, it is priced so low that it is good for solopreneurs and small business owners.

The starting price for iDevAffiliate is $39 per month. This allows unlimited affiliates, commissions and traffic. The only problem with this cheap option is that it is hosted in their servers. This means that you don’t have the freedom to alter it.

Meanwhile, there are its normal packages. These are Standard, Platinum and Black. While they may seem pricey ($199, $299 and $399 respectively), you only have to pay one-time. Since it is a one-time payment model, it seems to be cheaper than any other affiliate software offered in the market.

What do these packages include? The standard package includes a software that you can easily install in your computer. This comes with bundled plugins.

The Platinum package, on the other hand, have extra features such as SEO Links, Language packs, custom filename and private signup.

The Black Package also has geo targeting, social media marketing, QR cods, vanity coupons and professional installation.

GetAmbassador is a bit on the pricey side. Its target are startups and small businesses with its $800 per month pricing scheme. The price increases up to $1500 monthly if you go the Professional route. The problem is that the features included in each package is not even shown. You have to ask them to do a demo for you to know what’s included.

Because of the lack of information in GetAmbassador’s side, I will give the point for this category to iDevAffiliate.

Target Market

The target market of both softwares are the same. They have small businesses, mid size businesses and enteprises in mind when they created their software. Customer Reviews

So what are people saying about the softwares? It seems that both softwares are tied in two characteristics. These are Ease-of-Use and value for money. However, it seems that GetAmbassador has the upper hand when it comes to customer support. This is because the software provides one-on-one coaching with their clients.

Also, customers just cannot stop themselves from exclaiming how good the software is. It provided them with tons of options and have allowed them to run more than just an ordinary affiliate program.

Because of this, I will give the point for customer reviews to GetAmbassador.
